Wonderful Webb Cameo Glass Biscuit
Jar

Cameo carved scalloping around the top.

Here we see a mischievous worm at work!

Nicely polished pontil.
| Thomas Webb & Sons Cameo Glass Biscuit Jar
Drop dead gorgeous English cameo
glass biscuit jar by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge England.
Beautiful almost electric Citron color. Wonderfully
carved tree with hanging berries (not positive what type of tree?).
The artist that designed this masterpiece had a great sense of
humor, as amidst the leaves there's a mischievous freeloading
worm at work!
The top has wonderfully cut coin style reeding
and scalloping, and the base continues the theme with coin style
reeding as well. |
