Steuben Gold Aurene & Calcite Vase
Here's a classic Steuben Gold Aurene
over Calcite vase. This lovely shaped vase has an hour glass
shape, with a ruffled top. The interior of the vase has a
wonderful Gold Aurene finish with great hues of peach coloring, and
the exterior has a lovely pearly iridescent finish.
This is an early Carder era Steuben design, shape
# 1952. An example, but with a Blue Aurene interior can been
seen on color plate VI in the Paul Gardner book "The Glass of
Frederick Carder."
